Hawthorne Gold has two late-state exploration and development properties located in British Columbia, Canada. The Table Mountain and Taurus Projects are located in the Cassiar Gold Mining District in northern British Columbia, where there has been extensive mining and exploration activity since the 1960's. The Company's goal is to work towards production at the Cassiar Gold Mine in and continue exploration on the Taurus Deposit. The Company has planned an aggressive resource and development program for 2010 which includes: - Up to 10,000 metre surface exploration diamond drill program to bring the Taurus inferred resource to indictated and measured status - Continuation of metallurgical studies on the Taurus mineralization for compatibility with the mill flow sheet that contains the Table Mountain underground ore - Complete engineering and mine planning - Property-wide exploration program including trenching, mapping and soil sampling relating to geophysical signatures identified in 2008; numerous areas identified from interpretation of geological model and historic exploration Hawthorne expects to review other potential exploration and development stage projects to further increase and diversify their asset portfolio. |
